A long time Cheerleader, Ava has done outstanding things for the Sparkplug Cheer Squad. Ava is proud to have earned “...three Varsity letters, made the All-American cheer squad twice, got the “Bomb Base” award at a UCA camp, and got the “Most School Spirit” award from my coaches.” Ava’s success shows the hard work she puts in to be the best she can be. But she can’t do it all alone. Ava’s sister and best friend Izzy Bigelow is one reason why she works so hard. “She has always been there for me when I needed someone,” Ava stated. With her Mom, Leanne and Izzy, Ava can do anything she puts her mind too. She states that her Mom is one of her biggest influences. “She is one of the strongest people I know. I just want to make her proud.” With all the accolades earned so far, she is very proud. Ava plans to attend college at Cincinnati. “I’m interested in studying marketing because it's something I am good at and enjoy,” stated Ava. Academically, Ava has been inspired through her work with Spanish teacher Senora Aguiar. Ava has accomplished a lot during her four years at Speedway High School. She is a hard worker, intelligent, and an amazing athlete. Everyone is excited to see her journey. Senior profiles are compiled by the Student Media team of Morgan Smith, Jonathan Berry, Colten Thompson and Hayli Clampitt.
